faux-stone table lamp
I required a pair of low profile lamps on side tables in the living room and at 20" high (base to top of finial)these were perfect and they are contemporary while evoking mid-century modern. Unique and box-style shades seem to be in style now; and guests are fooled by the slate-look resin body of the lamp. Another great feature is the in-line toggle switch that allows a 100 watt bulb to ambiently light the room on "low" and dazzle (for reading) on setting two (click). The opaque shade seems delicate, however, and one top prong [not visible] needs glueing after the shipment. -Overall appearance is more expensive than actual price. -Good value. I viewed hundreds of lamps on-line before discovering this one.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
