I bought this lamp as a gift. It was very appreciated. The unique natural "bending" of the bamboo stems was especially attractive. The assembly was simple. Even though the light bulbs were not included, the information gave me the right specification to purchase these in advance from the local hardware store. I am considering ordering another one!!!

Table lamp is heavy by today's standards - which is a good thing. Construction is first class. We have four lamps spread throughout our family room. The design is refreshing - perfect for our home that has a water and wooded view. Anything tropical like this lamp is welcomed when you have to endure Rochester winters and lake effect snow. We also have a floor model of this lamp. Only complaint is the lack of clear instructions to assemble the floor lamp.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
